The left and right lights of the headlights are inconsistent. The left side is lower and the right side is higher. Is there something wrong with the headlights?
In fact, this is not the case. All of this was designed by Nissan engineers out of safety considerations and regulatory requirements.
It turns out that our country drives on the right, and cars coming from the opposite direction are all on the left. The light on the left is lowered to avoid affecting the view of oncoming drivers.
At the same time, all Nissan models are equipped with light height adjustment functions.
The function of the light height adjustment function is to adjust the height of the headlights to obtain the best illumination distance and avoid danger.
So how to adjust the light height?
The headlight height adjustment function knob of Nissan models is located under the air-conditioning outlet near the left side of the steering wheel. It is a manual adjustment method and is divided into four gears: 0, 1, 2, and 3. The illumination distance decreases from gear 0 to gear 3, and gear 0 The irradiation distance is the farthest, level 1 is the longest, and level 3 is the closest.
Just adjust the headlight height to the appropriate position to obtain the best illumination distance!
The next thing I want to share with you is the use of vehicle lights.
The use of car lights is directly related to driving safety. The correct use of car lights can not only protect your own safety, but also create an orderly traffic environment.
The light control lever is integrated under the left side of the steering wheel.
Low beam lights
Low-beam headlights are generally used on roads illuminated by street lights. Turn on steps:
1. Turn the upper end of the light control lever two gears forward to align the low beam mark with the gear mark;
That is to complete turning on the low beam headlights
High beam
High beams are mostly used on roads without lighting. Turn on steps:
1. First, place the light switch in the low beam position and turn on the low beam;
2. Move the entire lighting control lever outward;
That is to say, the high beam is turned on for a long time.
But if it only flashes the far and near lights, it is mainly used for communication with other drivers, such as reminders. The steps are:
1. First put the light switch in the low beam position and turn on the low beam.
2. Turn the lever inwards
3. Complete the far and near lights flashing alternately.
Reminder: If we use high beam when meeting cars, the other driver will be unable to see the road clearly due to the strong light and cannot judge the exact position of your vehicle, which will increase the chance of an accident. Therefore, if you turn on the high beam when meeting another car, you should switch to the low beam. If the other vehicle uses high beam, you can quickly change the high and low beam to alert the driver of the oncoming car.
The width light
The width indicator light is commonly known as a small light. Its function is to make the four corners of the vehicle visible to people, and its brightness is not as high as the headlights.
This light should be turned on on rainy days, dark weather or in underground parking lots. Turn on steps:
1. Turn the upper end of the light control lever forward one gear to align the width indicator light mark with the gear mark;
The opening of the width indicator light is completed.
fog lights
The light of fog lamps is divergent, with a large emission angle, and has good penetration and recognition. Therefore, in foggy days, heavy rain, heavy snow and sandstorms, we should turn on the front and rear fog lights of the vehicle so that other vehicles can see your car from a farther distance. Turn on steps:
1. First put the light switch in the low beam position and turn on the low beam.
2. Turn the front and rear fog light switch forward to turn on the front fog light, and turn it forward again to turn off the front fog light;
3. Turn the front and rear fog light switch position backward to turn on the rear fog light, and turn it back again to turn off the rear fog light;
hazard warning flashing light
When a vehicle emergency occurs, the hazard warning flashers should be turned on through the corresponding switch to alert other vehicles. Switch position: The hazard alarm flash light switch is circled as shown in the figure below.
In addition: Another function of the double flashing lights is to identify the vehicles in the convoy and let other cars know that the convoy will pass.
