In my big family, I am the only one who buys domestically produced cars. The others all buy joint venture cars worth hundreds of thousands. For example, my second uncle bought a Hyundai Pilot two years ago, and my cousin drives a Nissan. , my cousin bought a Volkswagen Bora in May this year, but I ignored my parents’ objections and insisted on my original intention to buy a BYD Qin Pro fuel version.
I bought the car at the end of May 2019. At that time, because first-tier cities had to comply with National VI emission standards, there was a promotion, so I bought one while the price was right. It has been more than a year now, and the mileage is nearly 10,000 kilometers.
Let me first talk about what makes me satisfied.
This car has very rich configurations, including an emergency braking configuration that I find very useful. One time, when I was driving from my hometown to Shenzhen, I might have been distracted and didn't see that there was a sudden traffic jam in front of me, and I was about to stop. I stopped, so I pressed the brakes to the end, and the car's emergency and active braking prevented a rear-end collision. When I braked, I screamed, waking up everyone in the car. It was a close call. .
In addition, this car also has a right front image, which I think is very helpful to me. Although the road in my hometown is not as rugged as the Yunnan-Guizhou Sichuan Mountain Road, it is also very narrow. The county roads in my hometown are all one-way streets. Sometimes when parking, I have to stop. It's so far away that if there was no right front image, it would really fall under the curb.
Let’s talk about the problems encountered by this car after driving for 10,000 kilometers.
The first is the issue of fuel consumption
I didn't calculate it carefully at the beginning. This year because of the epidemic, I drove more. I calculated it carefully and found that a tank of fuel (50L) can only run more than 500 kilometers. In this way, the fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is 10L. It is not a meter. The display showed about 6L, so I asked the car enthusiasts group with my doubts, and everyone replied: You think this is good, I can't run 400 kilometers on a tank of fuel. This is incredible, but that’s all I can do after buying it. But having said that, although the fuel consumption is a little higher, the power response is still good.
Next is the problem of car tail lights
I don’t know why, but the Qin Pro’s taillights cracked. I also accidentally discovered that the transparent plastic in the middle and tail section of the back cracked. However, I looked at other people’s cars and found that they didn’t have this problem, but some of them had taillights that had cracks. If one place is not bright, the brightness of the latter will be different. Later, I drove to the 4S store for testing and they replaced it for free. This problem no longer occurs.
Another problem is the sunken skylight.
I accidentally got out of the car and discovered that after I closed the sunroof with one click, it could no longer be closed. Then I could only close the sunroof manually, so that I could slowly close the sunroof. However, after closing it, the main After opening the driver's door, the instrument showed "sunroof not closed". This state has lasted for more than a year. I recently took the car to a 4S store for inspection and they said they wanted to replace the sunroof frame. Now I am waiting for the sunroof frame to be replaced. , other problems such as the skylight downstairs have not appeared.
All in all, I am quite satisfied with this car overall. In fact, every car has its own problems. It mainly depends on the attitude of the after-sales service and the manufacturer in solving problems. As long as they can solve the problem for you, the rest are just minor problems. Domestic cars are still slowly improving their quality, and the current quality is definitely much better than before.
