At the rear of the car, the new car uses through-type LED taillights inspired by the "Chinese knot". The downward expansion is also more refined than the models on sale. At the same time, black high-gloss trim panels echoing the front of the car are also added on both sides of the lower enclosure, making the lower half of the vehicle appear more stable. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4975/1910/1495 mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2920 mm. Except for the millimeter-level change in body length, other data are consistent with the BYD Han DM on sale.
Based on previous news, the BYD Han DM-i model will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of the same 1.5T engine as the Tang DM-i. The maximum engine power is 102 kilowatts, and the total electric motor power is expected to reach 160 kilowatts. Although compared with The absolute power value of the 2.0T DM-p model has been weakened, but the fuel consumption in the feed state will be reduced, making it more suitable for home use.

It is only a few millimeters different from the models on sale, and the overall change is not significant. In terms of power, the maximum power of the front motor of the new BYD Han EV reaches 180 kilowatts, which is slightly higher than the model on sale; the maximum power of the rear motor of the dual-motor version is still 200 kilowatts.
