Today, a new Mercedes-Benz G350 came to the store. The purpose of the car owner's visit was to upgrade the geometric headlights. This is also a project that many large G modifications will choose. I just take this opportunity to briefly introduce to you the process of modifying the geometric headlights. .
Since the replacement of the big G, the G500 and G63 have been equipped with geometric multi-beam headlights as standard, while the G350 needs to be optional. If there are no options, for example, the car above can be upgraded through modification.
The G350 is equipped with ordinary LED headlights, which have lower appearance.
These are the geometric headlights that are about to be replaced. Instead of choosing brand new ones, the car owner chose to replace a pair of original car lights that were removed from the G63. It needs to be mentioned here that the geometric headlights are divided into bright and blackened. Blackened geometric headlights are generally used in Equipped on a special version of the G63.
Need to be matched with geometric headlight module.
First remove the front bumper screws before you can remove the lamp cover.
The turn signal must also be removed first.
Original headlight (right) and geometric headlight (left).
The geometric headlights require a total of two modules. One is the module that comes with it installed on the side, and the other is the removed G350 original car headlight module installed on the back.
The original car's ordinary headlights only have one module at the back.
There is no mounting location on the side.
Geometric headlight modules are mounted on the sides.
The removed original car headlight module is installed on the back.
Changing the geometry headlights requires adding an adapter cable.
Installation is fixed.
Before I knew it, it was getting dark and I started programming.
Works perfectly.
Finally, put a layer of car cover on the headlights for further protection, perfect.
