Today I want to talk to you about "car lights". Do you know that? There are many car models that rely on headlights to inherit their heritage. Let’s talk about them while looking at them. Of course, we won’t talk about the well-known lamp manufacturer Audi, because? Too dazzling.
Nissan GTR
Everyone knows about the famous Japanese God of War. Its history is also a myth in the car world. It is such a performance monster that still retains the original headlight design of the early model.
Of course, not the headlights, but this taillight. Starting from the GTR R32, the taillights have always been designed with four circular barrels. It has a very high degree of recognition, just like what is said in the "Initial D" anime, even in the dark mountains, if the brake lights in front are four circular designs, it must be a GTR.
After so many years of changes, the body shape of the GTR has changed drastically. The only thing that remains unchanged is the four-barreled taillights at the rear of the car.
ford mustang
As an American national treasure-class muscle car, the Mustang has a high rate of appearance in American blockbusters. In addition to the through-type air intake grille shape that has been used on the front face, the "three-bar" type taillights arranged vertically at the rear are also one of its features. The design of the model has been inherited.
After so many years of accumulation, this "three-stripe" vertical taillight has only changed in size. However, I really cannot praise the headlight design of the new generation Mustang. It is really not as good-looking as the previous model.
dodge challenger
Both are American muscle cars, but the Challenger's taillight design is very different from that of the Mustang, but it is highly recognizable.
The Challenger has always used a through-type taillight design, but this through-type taillight is truly a through-type, with no other unnecessary designs at all. According to the designer at the time, the inspiration came from the "Coca-Cola" sticker, that touch of red, the most original and purest.
However, this design was discontinued after the 14th model. The rear logo divided the through-type taillight into two. The shape is slightly different from the previous through-type design, but the change is not significant and the recognition is still high.
Cadillac all series
Cadillac's headlight design language has always been simple and crude, just like the horizontal and vertical lines we pay attention to when writing.
All Cadillac models have always used vertical taillights. Both the Escalade and CT6 have this shape, without unnecessary modifications.
Although they seem to be the same, they are actually different. A simple design can be made extraordinary. Cadillac's vertical taillights are also a unique design in the car industry. The taillights of the CTS back then were so recognizable that it was a Caddy even from 300 meters away.
In fact, this kind of heritage design is more to continue the brand's unique design language, which is completely different from the current "matryoshka" design. In addition to the above models, there are also several impressive taillights. For example, the following models
Volvo, shoulder-shaped taillights
Lamborghini Y-shaped taillight
Peugeot lion claw tail light
Lincoln through-type taillights
In the last picture, can you guess what kind of cars they are? It's not difficult at all.
