The lights on the car are very important. They not only provide lighting for the driver, but also serve as reminders for other vehicles. But if the car's lights are accidentally adjusted, how should it be adjusted and restored?
How to adjust car lights?
There are three ways to adjust the car. Different car models have different adjustment methods. You need to choose the correct method according to your own car model.
1. There is a button to adjust the headlight height in the car
Most vehicles now have a button to adjust the headlights inside, which can be adjusted through this function key. There are usually 4 levels of light height. You can adjust it according to your needs.
2. Manually adjust the fine-tuning button of the headlight assembly
Most of the previous models required the use of fine-tuning buttons to manually adjust the lights. You needed to open the hood and find the fine-tuning buttons for adjusting the lights inside.
3. Automatic horizontal height adjustment
This type of headlight is generally found on high-end luxury cars and does not require manual adjustment by the driver. The lighting system will automatically adjust the height of the headlight based on signals fed back by relevant sensors.
How to restore headlights after they are messed up
1. It is necessary to drive the vehicle about 8 meters away from a wall at night and turn on the headlights of the vehicle.
2. You need to use an opaque thick cloth to cover the left car light and see if the height of the right car light is similar to the height specified in the vehicle model's manual.
3. If the car light on the right is in a normal state, you need to use chalk, stickers and other items to mark the center of the light range.
4. Open the thick cloth of the left car light and cover the right car light. You need to use chalk, stickers and other items to mark the center of the light range.
5. Look at the center mark of the lighting range of the left and right car lights to see if the right side is 10cm higher than the left side. If it is not 10cm higher, you need to fine-tune the lights on the left and right sides. Until the light on the right is 10cm higher than the light on the left.
