The front cover was found to have sheet metal repairs. The paint thickness was 1615μm, which is more than ten times higher than the original car standard. The putty was applied very thickly! By the way, what does sheet metal mean?
To put it simply, it is to carry out restoration and repair work such as shaping, stretching and correction, stress relief welding and other work on the body parts that have been deformed, dented, bent and displaced after the collision. Since the top of the hood is made of sheet metal, it can be reasonably inferred that there was a collision at the front of the car, and the strength of the collision also needs to be checked inside the engine compartment.
Still follow the process and take a look at the appearance first! There is also sheet metal on the left front fender. Could it be affected by the accident at the front of the car?
I looked at the manufacturing date of the front windshield, August 2019, and the vehicle was shipped from the factory in July, so it seems that the front windshield was replaced later!
In order to confirm the condition of the glass, Dongzi checked the inner glue line, and it was indeed glue applied from the rear. It seems that this car needs to pay more attention to the front problems!
The paint on the left side of the car went smoothly, but the left rear taillight was damaged and cracked, caused by a small scratch!
The rear and right side of the car are also relatively smooth, with basically the original paint!
When it comes to the right front fender, there is another sheet metal. Just looking at the appearance, the problems are concentrated in the front of the car.
Open the front cover to reveal the veil! I won’t introduce the engine here. Many friends can know the parameters by heart!
We focused on investigating the accident. The front water tank frame had been dismantled, and there were twisting marks on the surface of the screws that caused the paint to peel off due to friction!
The manufacturing date on the label is July 5, 2020, which is later than the time the vehicle left the factory. The corners of the label are also damaged, which may have been scratched during transportation. It seems that the water tank frame has also been replaced!
The fixing screws of the front anti-collision beam have also been tightened, but the space is relatively tight, and it is impossible to see whether the entire body has been replaced.
However, it can be inferred from the condition of the longitudinal beam that the front anti-collision beam must have been replaced. The position of the beam head of the right front longitudinal beam is a bit deformed. Although there is no extensive sheet metal repair, the accident car cannot run away! The front anti-collision beam is fixed in front of the longitudinal beam. If the longitudinal beam is deformed, will the anti-collision beam be intact?
The condenser is very new and clean. It looks like it was replaced later. A condenser that has been used for three years must have a lot of dust and dirt.
There are also signs of twisting on the cooling fan's fixing screws. It seems that the front nozzle set has been replaced!
Looking back at the engine, I can see that the machine screws have been removed. This is abnormal! According to Honda's durability, the average machine foot can last at least seven years without replacement, but this car is only three years old!
The gearbox machine screws have also been removed. Dongzi must have guessed what happened!
The valve cover screws are normal, and the accessories on the engine have not been removed, which means that the engine has not been disassembled, so it must have been lifted as a whole, or it was caused by a front collision!
The generator casing is broken, maybe it was broken during hoisting!
The antifreeze in the original car was drained because the water tank was replaced. The antifreeze replaced later was too watery and the freezing point was 0 degrees!
Opening the door and checking the interior, Dongzi’s impression is that there is no red interior in the Civic. The seats must have been modified later!
The seat screws have indeed been removed, but there are no traces of rust on the frame, and there is no sediment left in the gaps between the wiring harness!
There is nothing abnormal about the steering column, just a little bit of rust! Checking the fuse box found no problem, and there was no water in the interior!
If there is an accident at the front of the car, the airbags and seat belts cannot be ignored! It looked like the air bag screws had indeed been removed, so they must have exploded in the event of an accident!
The plastic shell on the lower part of the steering wheel is even broken!
The driver's seat belt is still original, and the manufacturing date and workmanship are consistent!
The fixing screws have not been moved! I'm confused, was the driver not wearing a seat belt during the collision?
Start the ignition, the engine runs smoothly, the oil supply is smooth, and the gearbox shifts without any shock! Observe that there is no fault light flashing on the instrument, and the total mileage is 32260KM. Remember this number, and you will see different results below!
I used a computer to read the historical data and found that I had already traveled 50,000 kilometers in June last year. Now more than a year has passed. If I extrapolate, the dealer should have adjusted the meter in half! The hidden rules of the second-hand car market!

The fixing screws of Yuanbaoliang have also been removed. Personally, I prefer to replace Yuanbaoliang. After all, even the gearbox has been damaged and repaired. How can there be no damage at all on Yuanbaoliang?
After seeing it, Haotian gave up completely and said he wanted to refund the deposit and not consider the car anymore! I was indeed careless. I saw that this car was relatively cheap, and I didn’t understand the car dealer’s secret language (defects usually indicate problems). The result was an accident + meter adjustment + underwriting, which took up half an afternoon. Originally, The good mood of planning to pick up the car was also greatly affected!
