In fact, this is not the first time that Ideal ONE has had a collision and fire accident.
At around 16:09 on August 6, 2020, an accident occurred in a driving Ideal ONE on the Erguang Expressway in the direction of Sihui and Lianzhou in Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province, causing the vehicle to catch fire.
The cause of the accident was initially determined to be that an object suspected to be a piece of iron was rolled up by a high-speed vehicle and penetrated the high-pressure oil pipe, causing fuel to splash and ignite at high temperatures in the exhaust pipe.
On May 8 last year, on the streets of Changsha City, Hunan Province, an Ideal ONE caught fire due to foreign objects adhering to the interior of the vehicle's front cabin.
According to the live video circulated on the Internet at the time, a large amount of thick smoke came out of the cabin in front of the accident vehicle and was accompanied by a fire. After the open flame was extinguished, the front face and front hood of the vehicle were almost completely burned.
NIO ES6 is positioned as a pure electric medium-sized SUV, with an entry-level model priced at 358,000 yuan; Lideal ONE is positioned as a medium-to-large SUV, priced at 338,000 yuan.
