[Original Product] Recently, we obtained a set of unfalsified spy photos of the Porsche Macan EV (picture) from overseas media. In the spy photos, the vehicle does not use any camouflage. The headlights are of a split design and are equipped with a double-layer grille. It is reported that the Macan EV is expected to be officially released in 2023, and delivery is planned to begin in 2024.
Macan EV is the first pure electric vehicle built by Porsche based on the PPE platform. The front of the car adopts a split headlight design. The traditional headlight position is only equipped with daytime running lights composed of four matrix LED light strips. The real headlights are located in the daytime running lights. below. In addition, the car also adopts an upper and lower split grille design, and a millimeter-wave radar is installed under the license plate holder.
The side lines of the body are smooth and equipped with blackened aluminum alloy wheels. Based on previous reports, the Macan EV will also be equipped with frameless doors. The overall outline of the rear of the car has not changed much. Although some parts have not yet been assembled, visual inspection shows that the overall shape is not much different from the current model. It will still adopt a flat style and will also be equipped with an adaptive spoiler.
Judging from previously exposed interior spy photos, the Macan EV has undergone major changes in the layout of the center console compared with the current fuel version of the Macan, and its overall design is relatively similar to the new Cayenne. The full LCD instrument adopts a curved screen design and eliminates the sun visor above the instrument. There is a shift lever on the right side of the instrument.
The central control screen still adopts an inline design, and judging from the reflection on the center console in front of the passenger, the Macan EV is suspected to be equipped with a passenger entertainment screen. In addition, the air-conditioning control panel under the center console retains a large number of mechanical buttons and knobs. This design is also consistent with the new Cayenne.
It is reported that the Macan EV is equipped with an 800-volt power system and is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with hairpin windings. Porsche officials stated that the maximum system power of the dual-motor version will reach 450 kilowatts and the peak torque exceeds 1,000 Nm. The Macan EV will be matched with a battery pack with a capacity of about 100 kWh. Specific range data has not been announced, but the maximum charging power of the car will be better than the 270 kW of the Porsche Tacan.
In addition, the Macan EV will also be equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and air suspension. In addition to soft and hard adjustment, the system will automatically adjust the body height according to different driving modes and vehicle speeds. Lowering the body during high-speed cruising will help improve Aerodynamic effects. Stay tuned for more news about the Porsche Macan EV.
